Why is there a lot of precipitation on the island of Great Britain and much less on the West Siberian Plain?

As you know, warm water evaporates much faster than cold water. Roughly the same situation is observed in the world’s oceans. Warm currents release moisture into the atmosphere, which allows nearby territories to receive plenty of precipitation. Such a current just passes off the coast of Europe in the west. Since the UK is in close proximity to the warm current of the Gulf Stream, it is a rainier region. Siberia, located in the interior of the mainland, almost does not receive oceanic moisture in the form of precipitation.
