Why should any biological system be open?

This is due to the fact that the biological system cannot be closed. This means that part of the biosystem has been separated from the surrounding world. Such experiments have already been carried out and they have shown that closed biosystems cannot exist. They collapse quickly. An example is the project “Biosphere 2”, when various natural conditions were artificially created, various plants and animals were taken and separated from the world. But there were no positive results. Theoretically, it is possible to create a closed biosystem, but in practice no one has succeeded in doing this.
