Why the Arabic language was called the Latin of the East.

As you know, almost all of Europe uses the Latin alphabet. The languages of these countries came precisely from Latin. But the Latin alphabet is used only in countries where the Catholic or Protestant population predominates. Everything is connected with the fact that the Roman Church uses the Latin alphabet in worship. In the Middle Ages, Catholicism spread throughout Western and Central Europe. For convenience, people began to speak and write in the language in which the divine services are conducted. After secession, the Protestant Church continued to use Latin. Everything is the same in the Arab world. It is more convenient for people to speak Arabic, because it is used in the service of Allah.
