Why the Jacobin dictatorship ended. How did it differ from the Republic of Thermidorians?

The Jacobin dictatorship ceased to exist because it outlived its usefulness. The participants in the Thermidorian coup were nouveau riches, that is, representatives of the new bourgeoisie. They made their fortune on speculation just during the revolution, but radical revolutionary measures were already getting in their way. Therefore, after coming to power, the Thermidorians abolished the “law on the suspicious”, abolished the revolutionary tribunal, and stopped mass terror. In addition, they abolished price caps and allowed free trade. Under both the Jacobins and the Thermidorians, France was formally a republic. But the former established their dictatorship, nullifying democratic principles, replacing them with terror.
