Why was Napoleon’s great army defeated?

Napoleon’s army was the strongest in Europe, but gradually it moved away from its own borders and expanded the war zone. Because of this, problems began to occur with food, as well as in the supply of ammunition. It became more difficult to coordinate the army, and the accuracy of information exchange decreased. More security had to be left in the new warehouses. The farther the French went, the more hostile they met, this became especially noticeable in Russia, where partisans were operating.
