Why was Prince Gautama named Buddha?

Siddhartha Gautama, who became the founder of Buddhism, in accordance with this teaching, began to be called Buddha after he cognized the dharma (truth) and attained enlightenment. The result of this for Gautama was the end of the chain of rebirth – the opportunity to leave the wheel of Samsara and go to mahaparinirvana. The state of a buddha is publicly available, Gautama was not the first or the last of the many living beings who achieved or will achieve such a state. He was a teacher who showed the mechanism for achieving enlightenment.
