Why was the Decembrist uprising defeated?

The following reasons for their defeat can be distinguished:

1) A rather narrow social orientation, the priority was the military revolution;

2) The low level of secrecy, in connection with which the government learned about the plans of the conspirators;

3) Lack of coordination of actions within the uprising;

4) A significant part of society was not ready to liquidate serfdom and autocracy;

5) The peasants and the rank and file of the army lagged behind.
