Why was the growth of the territories of Rome in 2-1 centuries BC accompanied by civil wars?

Civil wars took place for several reasons. Firstly, the Romans themselves had long been numerically inferior to the conquered peoples, and other tribes living on the Apennine peninsula wanted to receive the same rights as they did, since they served in the army and had great power. Secondly, the number of slaves, who sometimes rebelled, increased greatly. Also, wars were initiated by patrician families, who became very rich and wanted to gain power with the help of coups, displace opponents and achieve other goals.
