Why was the overwhelming majority of the Dutch population dissatisfied with the policy of the Spanish authorities?

Despite the fact that the old feudal system reigned in the Netherlands before the revolution, not all strata were satisfied with their lives. The Spanish population was almost entirely dissatisfied with the Spanish order. First of all, the industrialists and the bourgeoisie were dissatisfied, because they did not have a place in the state apparatus, did not play a role in government, and were infringed upon by the feudal nobility and monarchs. The peasants protested against high taxes and church tithes. The workers wanted a shorter working day.
