Why was the second republic in France short-lived?

In France, the Second Republic did not last long. After the “June days” a very unfavorable situation developed for the republic. The fact is that an impressive majority of monarchists turned out to be in the legislative assembly. They were divided into parties: Legitimists (supported the grandson of Charles X), Orleanists (supported the grandson of Louis Philippe) and Bonapartists (adherents of Louis Napoleon).
