Why were Christians not a danger to the Roman authorities?

The Christians in Rome did not pose a threat to the ruler. Despite the initial persecution, the people of this religion did not leave the country. Then the government realized the usefulness of Christians. They not only instilled in the population philanthropy and a thirst for self-sacrifice. They also contributed to the development of the cultural sphere and the consolidation of power. Their writings said that power was given to the emperor by God. Therefore, he is the deputy of God on earth and rules in accordance with Christian values. His power is unshakable.
