Why were temples built in Egypt?

Religious and mythological representations of the ancient Egyptians became the basis for the construction of numerous temples and cathedrals. As a rule, the considered architectural structures with a religious orientation were created in order to perform a variety of rituals and sacrifices to the gods. Inside the temple, the Egyptians had the opportunity to bow before the divine beings in whom they sacredly believed and worshiped. In addition, the Egyptians commemorated the deceased pharaohs within the temple walls.
