Why were the conspirators who killed Caesar not supported by all the Romans?

Caesar was not just a successful military and political leader, like many in his time, but also a man who enriched Rome with his conquests. Also, his power was strengthened by the fact that he educated and assembled many talented young politicians and generals, donated money and property to his legionnaires. And when he was killed, numerous and powerful supporters of Caesar demanded revenge, and the murderers were at a disadvantage, and then lost the war and were executed by Caesar’s supporters.
