Why were the Indians exterminated?

The Europeans invaded foreign lands. Looting and killing of the local population took place very often. They began to impose Christianity. Indians were not considered human at all. The local population could not calmly react to such facts and began to respond. There was enough cruelty on both sides. The Europeans were armed with firearms that the Indians did not have. But to help the natives was the knowledge of the area and the skills of a person who lived there all his life. Gold and land are the main reasons for the mass extermination of the indigenous population. Many Indians died from diseases brought by Europeans. Their bodies were simply not adapted to fight the new infection. Alcohol also played a role.
