The lens is located behind the pupil, under the cornea. Therefore, it cannot fly out of the eye without physical damage. But in case of damage or illness, the lens can be damaged or simply be removed from the eye. It is a lens and plays a key role in the refraction of light. Therefore, without it, we will not be able to see anything. Or we will see a blurry white spot. But now scientists have learned how to grow a lens or use an implant, and people with a damaged eye can fully restore their vision.
