| With what force will two point charges of 100 μC interact if they are placed in a vacuum at a distance of 1 m from each other.
Let’s calculate the force of interaction of point charges, applying the Coulomb law:
F = k * | q1 | * | q2 | / r², where k is the proportionality coefficient (k = 9 * 109 N * m² / Kl²), q1, g2 are the values of interacting charges (q1 = q2 = 100 μC = 100 * 10-6 C), r is the distance between the interacting charges (r = 1 m).
Let’s calculate the force of interaction of point charges:
F = k * | q1 | * | q2 | / r² = 9 * 109 * 100 * 10-6 * 100 * 10-6 / 12 = 90 N.
Answer: Two bodies will interact with a force of 90 N.
