Since the appointment of Hitler as Reich Chancellor in 1933, Hitler has pursued an active international policy, seeking allies and concluding treaties with third countries.
1. 1934, the Pilsudski-Hitler Pact – a non-aggression pact and the expansion of interstate relations concluded between Poland and Germany.
2. 1935, Anglo-German Maritime Agreement – was concluded with the aim of limiting the ratio of the tonnage and classes of warships between Germany and Great Britain. Under the agreement, Germany pledged not to have a navy greater than 35 to 100 in relation to the British navy.
3. 1936, Anti-Comintern Pact – the creation of a military alliance in response to the creation of the Comintern by the socialist countries. In 1938-1940, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Thailand and the puppet states of Germany and Japan joined the pact (which was later transformed into the Axis – Rome-Tokyo-Berlin).
4. 1938, Munich Agreement – an agreement on the transfer to Germany of the Suddet region of neighboring Czechoslovakia. Signed by England, France, Germany and Italy.
5. 1938, The signing of the German non-aggression pact between Great Britain and France.
6. 1939, a peace treaty with the Baltic countries. Concluded between Germany and Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania.
