Within which territories do trade winds prevail?

Trade winds are constant winds in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, blowing westerly, parallel to each other along the equator and in the tropics. The South trade wind is considered stronger due to the fact that it encounters fewer obstacles in the form of land relief, and therefore, it sometimes goes beyond the equator into the northern hemisphere, such as off the western coast of South America in the Pacific Ocean.
