Write a story on behalf of the farmer about his day. Include in the story a description of the farmer’s clothing, home, lunch, and field work.

I got up today at 5 am, at dawn. The wife got up even earlier, and had already baked wheat bread in the oven, and the eldest daughter milked the cow. After breakfast with steamed milk and a slice of bread, I washed and changed into work clothes: a cotton shirt, pants tucked in onuchi, and bast shoes on top. Sometimes I can wear boots. I tied a shirt at the waist with a drawstring – and go to work on the field. Today there are many things to do: with the help of a sickle it was necessary to collect grain, mow the slanting grass for drying hay, plow the land with a plow with the help of a horse, and plant new grain. I dine right in the field, today my wife put bread and vegetables with me again. I finished work only in the evening and returned home. Yes, I have a good house, although not rich, I built it myself. My house is made of logs, folded and fastened together in a special way, shutters on the windows, a porch – all of wood. Inside there is a stove on which we cook food, a table, chairs, several beds for us and the children. In the corner there are icons for prayer. We live well, in love and understanding, though not rich. This is how my day goes by. (P.S. story on behalf of a Russian farmer).
