Write down the chemical reactions: Cl2-HCl-H2-H2O-O2-NiO

To carry out the above chain of transformations, we need to carry out four reactions.
1) Chlorine react with hydrogen, hydrochloric acid is formed. The molecular equation of the reaction can be written as follows:
Cl2 + H2 = 2 HCl
2) Hydrochloric acid reacts with sodium carbonate salt. As a result of this interaction, sodium chloride salt and carbonic acid are formed. Carbonic acid is not a stable compound and therefore it decomposes in air into water and carbon dioxide.
HCl + Na2CO3 = 2 NaCl + CO2 + H2O
3) Salt reacts with water to form sodium hydroxide, chlorine and hydrogen.
2 NaCl + 2 H2O = 2 NaOH + H2 + Cl2
4) Sodium chloride salt and silver nitrate salt reacts to form silver chloride salt and sodium nitrate salt. Graphically, the equation of a chemical reaction can be written as follows:
NaCl + AgNO3 = AgCl + NaNO3.
