Write down the reaction equations: Na – Na OH – Na2SO4 – Na Cl

In order to carry out the chain of transformations indicated in the task, we need to carry out three chemical reactions.

The first is the interaction of sodium and water. Sodium hydroxide alkali is formed and hydrogen gas is evolved.

Na + 2 H2O = 2 NaOH + H2
To carry out the second chemical reaction, we take the sodium hydroxide we obtained and add the copper sulfate salt. As a result of this transformation, we get copper hydroxide and sodium sulfate salt.

CuSO4 +2 NaOH = Cu (OH) 2 + Na2SO4
And the third reaction is the production of sodium chloride salt from sodium sulfate salt. It happens as follows:

Na2SO4 + BaCl2 = 2 NaCl + BaSO4.
