Write down the reaction equations with which you can carry out the chains of transformations magnesium-magnesium acetate-acetic acid-potassium acetate

In order to carry out the chain of transformations indicated in the task, we need to carry out three reactions.

1) We need to add acetic acid to magnesium to form magnesium acetate.

Mg + CH3COOH = (CH3COO) 2Mg + H2 ↑

2) The second reaction is the interaction of magnesium acitate and sulfuric acid with the formation of acetic acid.

(CH3COO) 2Mg + H2SO4 = MgSO4 + 2 CH3COOH ↑

3) The third reaction is to add potassium hydroxide to acetic acid in order to obtain water and the desired calcium acetate.

CH3COOH + KOH = CH3COOK + H2O.
