There are two types of views in the world: conservative and liberal. Conservative ideas are characterized by a commitment to tradition and stability. Supporters of these ideas believe that society should improve in a moderate framework, without making sudden movements or shocks. Liberals, on the contrary, support progress, freedom of expression of personal actions, the rule of law, democratic freedoms, equal political rights, freedom of religion, etc. These are two opposite currents of social thought.
