Write the equation of chemical reactions according to the scheme HCL ZnCL2 Zn (OH) 2 ZnO Zn (NO3) 2

In order to carry out transformation reactions, we need to carry out four reactions.

The first reaction is the reaction between hydrochloric acid and zinc oxide. A zinc chloride salt and water are formed as a result of the reaction.

2 HCl + ZnO = ZnCl2 + H2O

Next, we carry out the reaction of the zinc chloride salt and sodium hydroxide base. As a result of the exchange reaction, zinc hydroxide base and sodium chloride salt are formed.

ZnCl2 + 2 NaOH = Zn (OH) 2 + 2 NaCl

The third reaction is the dissociation reaction of zinc hydroxide into zinc oxide and water. We write the chemical equation of the reaction as follows:

Zn (OH) 2 = ZnO + H2O

And the last reaction is the reaction between zinc oxide and nitric acid. As a result of the reaction, a zinc nitrate salt is formed and water is released. The molecular equation of the reaction can be written as follows:

ZnO + 2 HNO3 = Zn (NO3) 2 + H2O.
