Write the equation of the reactions: calcium – calcium oxide – calcium hydroxide

Write the equation of the reactions: calcium – calcium oxide – calcium hydroxide – calcium nitrate – calcium carbonate – calcium oxide – calcium silicate

1) Calcium oxide interacts with water, and we get its hydroxide:

CaO + H2O → Ca (OH) 2;

2) Calcium hydroxide, in turn, reacts with nitric acid, we get calcium nitrate and water:

Ca (OH) 2 + 2HNO3 → Ca (NO3) 2 + 2H2O;

3) To obtain calcium carbonate (precipitate), we carry out the reaction of interaction of calcium nitrate and sodium carbonate:

Ca (NO3) 2 + Na2CO3 → CaCO3 ↓ + 2NaNO3;

4) Calcium carbonate decomposes into calcium oxide and water during heating: CaCO3 ↓ → CaO + CO2;

5) In the process of interaction of calcium oxide with sand, we obtain calcium silicate: CaO + SiO2 → CaSiO3.
