1. СН4 + О2 = НСОН + Н2О – methane oxidation, methanal was obtained (industrial method);
2. 6СН2О = 6С6Н12О6 – Butlerov’s reaction, glucose is released;
3. С6Н12О6 = 2С2Н5ОН + 2СО2 – alcoholic fermentation, ethanol was formed;
4. С2Н5ОН + HCl = C2H5Cl + H2O – exchange, ethane chloride is released;
5. 2C2H5Cl + 2Na = C4H10 + 2NaCl – butane obtained by the Wurtz reaction;
6. С4Н10 + Cl2 = C4H9Cl + HCl – substitution, butane chloride was formed;
