a) KOH = KCI This transformation can be carried out using the reaction:
Cl2 + 2KOH = KClO + KCl + H2O
add potassium hydroxide to chlorine, as a result of the reaction we obtain potassium chlorate, potassium hydrochloride and water.
b) Na2O = NaOH This transformation can be carried out using the reaction:
Na2O + H2O = 2NaOH
add water to sodium oxide and get sodium hydroxide.
