Write the formula for the elastic force.

The elastic force is a physical quantity equal to the product of the stiffness of the body by the change in length (elongation or shortening).

The elastic force is also called Hooke’s law. It is measured like all physical quantities in Newtons and is most often used for mathematical pendulums or springs.

Its formula looks like this:

Fcont = kx, or Fcont = kΔl,
where Fпр is the elastic force,
k – body rigidity,
x – change in length.
