Write the magnesium carbonate formulas.
Magnesium carbonate is a complex substance, salt. It consists of three substances: magnesium, carbon and oxygen. The atoms of the molecule of this substance are interconnected by ionic bonds. The magnesium atom forms a cation (positively charged ion) Mg 2+ (magnesium two plus), and carbon and oxygen form an anion (negatively charged ion) CO3 2- (tse about three two minus). The atoms of these chemical elements combine to form a fairly strong ionic crystal lattice. Magnesium carbonate is an insoluble substance, so if a chemical reaction occurs in an aqueous medium, this salt will precipitate. Chemical formula of magnesium carbonate: MgCO3 (additional coefficients are not required, since the charges of the cation and anion are the same in value).
