Write the reaction equation: AL2 (SO4) 3-ALCL3-AL (OH) 3-AL2O3-AL-AL2O3-ALPO4
1) When aluminum sulfate and barium chloride interact, we obtain barium sulfate and aluminum chloride:
Al2 (SO4) 3 + 3BaCl2 → 3BaSO4 + 2AlCl3;
2) Aluminum chloride interacted with potassium hydroxide – a precipitate of aluminum hydroxide and potassium chloride was obtained:
AlCl3 + 3KOH → Al (OH) 3 ↓ + 3KCl;
3) Aluminum hydroxide decomposes into aluminum oxide and water:
2Al (OH) 3 → Al2O3 + 3H2O;
4) In the course of the substitution reaction in the case of interaction of aluminum oxide and magnesium, we obtain magnesium oxide and aluminum:
Al2O3 + 3Mg → 3MgO + 2Al;
4) Aluminum reacts with oxygen, we get – aluminum oxide:
4Al + 3O2 → 2Al2O3;
5) In the process of the exchange reaction between aluminum oxide and orthophosphate acid, we obtain aluminum orthophosphate and water:
Al2O3 + 2H3PO4 → 2AlPO4 + 3H2O.
