CO2 + Ca (OH) 2 => CaCO3 + H2O;
3) The reaction between calcium carbonate and hydrochloric acid to form calcium chloride, carbon dioxide and water:
CaCO3 + 2HCl (dil.) => CaCl2 + CO2 ↑ + H2O;
4) The reaction between carbon dioxide and sodium hydroxide to form sodium carbonate and water:
CO2 + 2NaOH => Na2CO3 + H2O.
