Write the reaction equation: C6H6 – C6H5NO2 – C6H5NH2 – C6H5NH3Br

Let’s carry out the solution of the chain of transformations for organic substances:

Benzene – nitrobenzene – phenylamine (aniline) – bromide phenylammonium.

C6H6 + HNO3 = C6H5NO2 + H2O – nitration occurs in the presence of sulfuric acid as a dehydrating agent, nitrobenzene is obtained;
C6H5NO2 + 6H = C6H5NH2 + 2H2O – reduction, phenylamine is formed;
C6H5NH2 + HBr = (C6H5NH3) Br – phenylammonium bromide formed.

The solution process shows the relationship between hydrocarbons and nitrogen-containing organic compounds using the example of benzene, aniline.
