1) CaC2 + 2HCl = CaCl2 + C2H2 (when calcium carbide interacts with hydrochloric acid, calcium chloride and acetylene are formed);
2) 2C2H2 + 5O2 = 4CO2 + 2H2O (when acetylene interacts with oxygen, carbon dioxide and water are formed);
3) CO2 + CaO = CaCO3 (when carbon dioxide interacts with calcium oxide, calcium carbonate is formed).
