Write the reaction equation: CH3-CH3- CH2 = CH2- CH3-CH2CL- + 2NA

We write down the following chain of reaction equations.
CH3-CH3-> CH2 = CH2-> CH3-CH2CL -> + 2NA.
1. CH3 – CH3 + Cl2 = CH3 – CH2Cl + HCl;
This means that when ethane interacts with free chlorine, chloroethane and perchloric acid are obtained.
CH3 – CH2Cl + KOH (alcohol) = CH2 = CH2 + KCl + H2O;
When chloroethane interacts with alcohol with a potassium solution, ethene, potassium chloride and water are obtained.
2. CH2 = CH2 + HCl = CH3 – CH2CL.
When ethene interacts with hydrogen chloride, we obtain chloroethane.
3. CH3-CH2Cl + CH3Cl + 2Na -> 2NaCl + CH3-CH2-CH3.
