1) K2O + H2O = 2KOH (when potassium oxide interacts with water, potassium hydroxide is formed);
2) KOH + HNO3 = KNO3 + H2O (when potassium hydroxide interacts with nitric acid, potassium nitrate and water are formed);
3) 2KNO3 + H2SO4 = K2SO4 + 2HNO3 (when potassium nitrate interacts with sulfuric acid, potassium sulfate and nitric acid are formed).
