CH4 – CH3F – C2H6 – C2H5Br – C4H10.
1. СН4 + F2 = CH3F + HF – substitutions, methane fluoride was obtained;
2. 2СН3F + 2Na = C2H6 + 2NaF – ethane is formed during the Wurtz reaction;
3. C2H6 + Br2 = C2H5Br + HBr – substitution, bromoethane is released;
