1) 2Pb + O2 = 2PbO (when lead interacts with oxygen, lead oxide is formed);

2) PbO + 2HNO3 = Pb (NO3) 2 + H2O (when lead oxide interacts with nitric acid, lead nitrate and water are formed);

3) Pb (NO3) 2 + 2NaOH = Pb (OH) 2 + 2NaNO3 (when lead nitrate interacts with sodium hydroxide, lead hydroxide and sodium nitrate are formed);

4) Pb (OH) 2 = PbO + H2O (during thermal decomposition of lead hydroxide, lead oxide and water are formed).
