C3H8 – C3H7Cl – C3H6 – C3H7OH
C3H8 + Cl2 = C3H7Cl + HCl – substitution, chloropropane was formed;
С3Н7Cl + KOH = C3H7OH + KCl – exchange, propanol is released;
С3Н7ОН = H2O + H3C – CH = CH2 – dehydration, propene was obtained;
CH3 – CH = CH2 + H2O = CH3 – CH – (OH) – CH3 – hydration, propanol was released.
