1) S + O2 = SO2 (when sulfur interacts with oxygen, sulfur (IV) oxide is formed);

2) SO2 + O2 = SO3 (when sulfur (IV) oxide interacts with oxygen, sulfur oxide (VI) is formed);

3) SO3 + H2O = H2SO4 (when sulfur (VI) oxide and water react, sulfuric acid is formed);

4) H2SO4 + Na2SO3 = Na2SO4 + SO2 + H2O (when sulfuric acid interacts with sodium sulfite, sodium sulfate, sulfur (IV) oxide and water are formed).
