Write the reaction equation: sodium with chlorine and sodium with hydrochloric acid

2Na + Cl2 = 2NaCl – the reaction of the compound, metallic sodium, as an active metal, reacts with gaseous chlorine and a salt of sodium chloride is formed.
2Na + 2HCl = 2NaCl + H2 is a substitution reaction, metallic sodium, as a more active metal, replaces hydrogen in hydrochloric acid, while a sodium chloride salt is formed and a gas – hydrogen is released.
