Write the reaction equations: Al → Al2 (SO4) 3 → Al (OH) 3 → Al (NO3) 3 → KAl (OH) 4

To carry out reactions along a given chain AL = AL2 (SO4) 3 = AL (OH3) = AL (NO3) 3 = AL (OH) 4, we need to carry out three reactions:

1) 2Al + 3H2SO4 = Al2 (SO4) 3 + 3H2 add sulfuric acid to aluminum, as a result of the substitution reaction we obtain aluminum sulfate and hydrogen.

2) Al2 (SO4) 3 + 6NaOH = 2Al (OH) 3 + 3Na2SO4 add sodium hydroxide to aluminum sulfate, as a result of the exchange reaction, we obtain aluminum hydroxide and sodium sulfate.

3) Al (OH) 3 + 3KNO3 = Al (NO3) 3 + 3KOH aluminum hydroxide is mixed with potassium nitrate, as a result of the exchange reaction we obtain trivalent aluminum nitrate and potassium hydroxide.
