Write the reaction equations: C2H6 – C2H4 – C2H2 – C6H6

C2H6 = C2H4 + H2 is a dehydrogenation reaction, as a result of which ethylene and hydrogen are formed from ethane.
C2H4 = C2H2 + H2 is a dehydrogenation reaction, as a result of which acetylene and hydrogen are formed from ethylene.
3C2H2 (activated carbon catalyst) = C6H6 – cyclic isomerization of acetylene, as a result of the reaction ethane is formed. The reaction is only possible at temperature and activated carbon is used as a catalyst.
