Write the reaction equations for the transitions N2 – N2O5 – HNO3 – KNO3

1. Obtaining nitric anhydride – very toxic, upon decomposition it forms poisonous nitric oxide (II).

2N2 + 5O2 = 2N2O5.

2. Nitric oxide (V) dissolves easily in water to form nitric acid. Nitric acid was first discovered in the 17th century by the German alchemist Glauber, and the qualitative composition in the 18th century – by the Frenchman Lavoisier.

N2O5 + H2O = 2HNO3.

3. The reaction of acid and alkali – obtaining potassium nitrate or potassium nitrate (in the food industry additive E252).

НNO3 + KOH = KNO3 + Н2О.

One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
