2Na + O2 = Na2O2 – reaction of sodium combustion in oxygen, sodium peroxide obtained;
Na2O2 + 2H2O = 2NaOH + H2O2 – ion exchange;
CH3COOH + NaOH = CH3COONa + H2O – ion exchange;
CH3COONa + HCl = CH3COOH + NaCl – ion exchange;
NaCl (melt) = 2Na + Cl2 – electrolysis.
